Our classic yachtsman's hat was initially available in black in sizes 6 3/4, 6 7/8, 7, 7 1/8, 7 1/4, 7 3/8, 7 1/2, 7 5/8, 7 3/4, 7 7/8, and 8. However, due to high demand for some of the more popular sizes, our inventory for them has been temporarily depleted. We are currently experiencing some supply chain issues in getting the right fabric to make more hats and are hoping to resolve this problem as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Payment options include VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, and PayPal. This website does not offer shipping for orders to be sent outside the U.S. but if you email us directly through our “Contact Us” page, we will arrange shipping for you.
*** PLEASE READ: Don't just guess your size. When you order, please tell us your EXACT measurement in inches. “MEASURE TWICE, ORDER ONCE!” It is very important that you measure your head using a soft cloth measuring tape. Place it around the circumference of your head, slightly above the ears and eyebrows and over the bony area at the back of your head. The chart below can be used for reference. We will ask you for the exact measurement before we ship a hat to you. We do honor exchanges, but get it right the first time and save yourself the extra shipping cost for sending you a second hat. Thanks.
Note: You can make small adjustments if your hat is slightly tight or loose by gently stretching the band or using a wooden hat stretcher, or by adding something behind the hat band to slightly increase the volume. A piece of thin foam weather strip tape or folded paper towel can work well. If these methods are not sufficient and the hat is definitely not your right size, contact us and we will gladly arrange to exchange it for you.
Our hats are designed for a more casual look. If you want your hat to have a more military look, add a small thin piece of plastic inside the hat behind the crossed anchor embroidery, and secure it with a small pin in the center of the embroidery, such as an American flag or one representing the military or a service organization.
If your hat needs some re-shaping, use a hand-held steamer to adjust it to your liking.
